Dear National Child Support
I wanted to take some time to thank you and your company for
the successful effort in collecting child support from my
ex-husband.
As an attorney, I understand that my child support case is a
very difficult case that involves multiple states and a
non-custodial parent that is self-employed. After moving to
Ohio from Pennsylvania in 1991, I attempted to have Ohio
enforce my child support order issued by the state of
Pennsylvania. At that point in time, my ex-husband resided in
Virginia.
After six years of working with various county child support
enforcement agencies in Ohio with no enforcement results, I
turned to National Child Support to have my order enforced. Within
five months I started receiving regular current child support
payments as well as payments on the accumulated arrears. It
is now approximately one and one-half years since I started
receiving payments and my ex-husband is still paying regularly.
Imagine my reaction when my ex-husband made the comment that
after all these years of non-enforcement he thought I was not
interested in receiving child support for our children! Imagine
my ex-husband's reaction when he actually needed to work above
the board to pay his child support!
I am very grateful and appreciative of the efforts made on
and attention paid to my case by the staff of the National
Child Support.
